Our Kids Future

No greater gift could ever be given to us than seeing our kids be successful and happy. At a recent Designed for Life Women's Conference my daughter and I attended, the famous quote was "The World Needs Who You Were Created to Be!" Really how true is this?! Every one of us are woven together so differently! Each of us created with our unique interests, and our own dreams and goals.

What would every day look like if your sweet child became a part of our family? We would hold their hand every step of the way in this blessing we call life! Nothing is more important to us than our kids and their future. We teach them that they can be anything that that put their heart and soul into. We teach them that diligence and perseverance are the key to success. If you fail, you don't give up! You try again, and eventually you will succeed. We teach our kids not to say "I quit!" or "I can't do this!" Those are phrases we don't allow in our home. "I can" and "I will do my best!" Those are words to live by! We also teach them that mistakes will be made in life. That is just part of being human. We have a pillow in the kids playroom that the kids have really loved. They have memorized the words "Mistakes are Proof you are Trying." That could not be more true. Mistakes will be made, wrong doings will be done, but there are always ways to fix them or to make them right. Learning is a part of everything we do. From the moment we are born on this earth, to the moment that we go home to be with Jesus, we will be making mistakes. Growing and learning from those mistakes is the key! We allow our children to grow in a home where they know they are safe, loved, accepted and not judged, and from there we watch them blossom! With some guidance and resources its amazing how much they can flourish to their true potential. No matter what the future brings, or what path our children are led, they know we will always be in the wings to support them and cheer them on.
