Parenting style

We have been figuring out our parenting style for 9 years now. It seems we are always learning something new and then something else changes! Every one of our kids is unique and we treat them that way. What works for one child doesn’t always work for another. We work hard on remaining patient and talking with our children on what the wrong decision was and how to make a better choice next time.Consistency is key and sticking to what we have told them has been HUGE. We know we ALWAYS need to have follow through! We discipline with love, but also stand our ground on the rules to protect our kids. Nothing means more to us in this life than our children and they know that. No matter what choices they make, they know we will always love them and be there for them, but we also will stick to the rules and they know that too!
