Our Family

Our family consists of Mitchell (34) Heather (33) Ella (9) Bentley (7) Parker (4) and Thatcher (2). We have one daughter who is Ella, the oldest, and three boys following.

 I won't try to convince anyone that we are the perfect family, because we most definitely are not. The kids can be loud and excited, the dogs want to lick everyone who walks in the door, we have spills and moments we are so extremely annoyed with each other, BUT one thing is for sure, we love each other like crazy! Our kids are extremely close to one another and stand up for each other!  Dance parties in the house with the music turned up are a regular occurrence, and the little boys may end up dancing in their underwear! Late nights swimming in the summer, fireworks, trick or treating, we love it all! Simple moments are the memories we treasure.

Mitchell works in mortgage lending and is the director of the risk department. He works about 40 hours a week and spends most of his time off with the kids. He also enjoys playing basketball a few times a week with friends and occasionally golf. He especially enjoys woodworking and building things.

Heather (myself) is a stay at home mama with a degree in elementary education. I wouldn’t trade staying home with my kids for anything. My mom was a stay at home mom as well, and I loved the feeling it brought of knowing she was always there when I needed her. I enjoy reading, getting together with my mama friends, and home decorating.

 Ella is very creative and can spend hours doing art. She is also an amazing team gymnast. She's a little mama to her brothers and has the kindest heart I have ever seen. From day one, she has seemed wise beyond her years. 

Bentley is a master at building Legos. He can make anything you put in front of him. He’s hilarious, strong willed, and loves fiercely. He is also a team gymnast, and is very disciplined and a hard worker. He loves to help his daddy outside with things like building and stacking wood. He enjoys helping his papa with outdoor chores as well.

Parker is four and he has the most tender heart you have ever seen. He loves his paw patrol beanie boos and building blocks. He can occupy himself for hours. He loves to snuggle, play games and read books.

Thatcher is 2 and is all over! He has a fun, outgoing personality! He loves to play with monster trucks and trains!   He has an enthusiasm for life, and isn't afraid to try anything new. 
 

We also have our three Goldendoodle dogs Hope, Oakley and Ruby. Our favorite thing is spending time together! We love playing outside, going to the park, visiting the science center in our home town and our local aquarium. We spend a lot of time with the kids grandparents (our parents) as well. Most of our family lives in our town so that is a lot of fun!! Two of our kids are on the gymnastics team and we also enjoy basketball, soccer, baseball, etc. We also grow a garden and have chickens! The kids help take care of the chickens and collect the eggs which they think is so fun! A little farm to table all of our own! We do many home projects too which is a lot of fun for us. The kids like to help daddy which in turn teaches them many life skills! More than anything, spending time together is what is most precious to us!
