Our story

Both of us are born are raised in Missouri, still residing here. Mitchell and Heather met in high school in 2002. I (Heather) was a sophmore and Mitchell was a junior. Our first date was ice skating and chinese food. The rest was history. We got married December 30, 2006 and it was a beautiful, rainy Christmas Wedding. We bought our first home and moved all of our things right before the wedding. While married and working, we completed our college degrees. Heather’s degree is elementary education and Mitchell’s is business management and administration. Three months after graduating college in 2010, we had our first child. A beautiful daughter we named Ella Grace. She became our world so fast! Being parents was something we had dreamed of. In 2012, Mitchell got a new job working in the mortgage department, which is where he has been now for 7.5 years and has worked his way up. One week after he started his new job, we had our first son, a little boy we named Bentley Taylor. Life with two kids was so good! We did so many fun things together! It was fun doing all the kids events and activities. In 2014, we sold our first home and bought our forever home that my dad had built when my mom was pregnant with me (Heather). My dad used to frame houses so it was so meaningful to us to have a home he had built when he was a builder. In 2015, we had our second son, little Parker Gage. He is a complete sweetheart! In 2017, and after three c-sections, we decided to have one more. Thatcher Gray, our third son, was born. What a fun boy he is!!! In 2018, we decided to do a home addition to go from three bedrooms, to five, and also to build a huge fun playroom and space for the kids as they get older! Here we are in 2019 going into 2020, and we have decided it is time to adopt a baby! We got our foster license in 2019 and that is enjoyable and such a blessing! We would love to add a permanent family member though! This is our story so far with so many fun things in between, and we cant wait to see what God has in store in 2020!!
